After-School Extension Workshops for Children Aged 6 to 11 Years
Also known as the Bubble Dome “Thinkers Club”, this unique series of workshops is designed to help students develop lifelong lateral thinking skills to direct and enhance their own learning experiences both in the classroom, at home and in day to day life.
We are now taking bookings for our Term One 2008 programme which will be running at the Auckland locations listed below.
The Programme
Different problem-solving activities that make links into science, technology and design are explored each week. A report is provided to all parents about their child’s progress at the end of each term.
Weekly sessions comprise:
- Science and technology experiments
- Brain stretching warm-up challenges
- Creative visualizations
- Hands-on construction and model-making work
- Research topics approached from unique angles

The programme runs at schools across Auckland, on different days depending on the location. Our current venues are:

Times 3.45pm-5.15pm, with optional immediate after-school care available at most locations prior to classes beginning. The classes run for one day each week over an eight week term.
Cost
$169 per 8 week term.
$40 per 8 week term for the optional warm-up session that runs from 3.00pm-3.45pm.
