Bubble Dome designs writing and thinking skills resources for children aged from five to eleven years of age and works in collaboration with world renowned author and thinker Dr Edward de Bono, whose 67 books have been translated into 38 languages. The leading international authority on conceptual and creative thinking, Dr Edward de Bono was the originator of the popular Six Thinking Hats Method and the term ‘lateral thinking’. Our Writing Adventures product has been endorsed by Dr de Bono and uses the Six Thinking Hats.
Writing Adventures is a unique resource designed to develop children’s high-level thinking skills through the use of unusual characters and lateral thinking activities. Bubble Dome uses the latest in 3D computer graphics to illustrate Writing Adventures. The Bubble Dome website and supporting animations link directly into the content of the Writing Adventures cards.
Designed around writing prompt cards, Writing Adventures engages students within the different worlds of fantasy characters and involves them in writing based around a selection of genres. There is a Writing Adventures boxed set for each of the six primary school years. Because each Writing Adventures set relates to a different primary school level with a corresponding reading age, it makes the cards easy for children to work from independently within a classroom environment.
The Writing Adventures product is used a as core literacy writing resource in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. It has been launched this year after intensive development and trialling and is being distributed into the UK by McGraw-Hill and in Australia/New Zealand by Pearson Education.
Bubble Dome specialises in adapting this product to suit the curriculum and language of different countries so we are able to adapt the content specifically to suit your market.
