Camouflage cloak

This cloak is something that the Earthquake Bird can wear. Has the Earthquake Bird discovered a way to disguise itself in the Pancake Jungle?

Or perhaps this is another protective device that the Shell Children or Dr Lizard have invented. It could be something that they can drop over the Earthquake Bird to trap it and protect themselves from its vibrating claws.
